Bluetooth takes its name from a character in history called Harald Bluetooth. He was born in 910AD and the Bluetooth concept takes his name because in 940AD he had the ability to Unite two warring countries, Denmark and Norway. It was because of the uniting of two countries by Harald Bluetooth that the founders of Bluetooth technology took his name for the principle of uniting two components to work together remotely. The use of Bluetooth technology has the ability of linking the different technologies like , computers, mobile phones, printers, headsets etc.

The first to try and discover a way to provide low cost, low power interfaces was a company called Ericsson Mobile Communications. First explorations took place in 1994 to wirelessly connect computers to mobile phones. In 1998, Lund Switzerland saw the formation of like minded companies who united into an association called the Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG). Coming from different backgrounds the group included market leaders in laptop manufacturing, the cell phone industry and digital signal processing. These companies where Ericsson, IBM, Microsoft, Motorola, Nokia, Intel, Toshiba, and Agere. These companies now promote development and research into the technology of Bluetooth.

Ericsson Mobile Platforms had two employees Jaap Haartsen and Sven Mattisson which developed the Bluetooth specifications. Developed in Scandinavia Bluetooth technology is able to unite different components from different industries such as computing, cell phones and automotive markets. Based on a frequency hopping spread spectrum it is a wireless technology that combines and simplifies multiple forms of communication into a common secure available radio signal.

The Bluetooth Special Interest Group made a firm commitment to have Bluetooth technology installed in various devices and by 2002 Bluetooth technology was installed in PC’s, notebooks, desktop computers and over 100 million mobile phones had the technology as well as millions of other communications devices.

Bluetooth is a wireless communications network which operates on a short-range radio frequency. Bluetooth technology has the ability to has the ability to be used on any equipment that has its built in features and can exchange information between various device like mobile phones and computers. One other technology that is similar is Wi-Fi but it uses a different operating system although the operating range is greater with Wi-Fi. However Bluetooth is cheaper to run than the more expensive Wi-Fi hardware. One big advantage Bluetooth has is its ease of setting it up between many devices, its better security and its automated system. Wi-Fi is more complicated to set up and needs to have devices configured to set up shared resources which are more for Ethernet networking. Bluetooth is more powerful and has better connections whilst Wi-Fi is better suited for operating larger networks. 

Microsoft Windows XP with Service Pack 2 or higher is required to operate Bluetooth on a computer. If you run an Apple computer it has been supported by Bluetooth technology since 2002. Nearly all computers now have Bluetooth installed but if not then if your computer has Windows XP with Service pack 2 then a device called a dongle can be purchased. The dongle device allows various devices to communicate with your computer.

Bluetooth is now the world wide wireless standard and has a bright future. In the future High quality audio and video data will have a much higher quality as Bluetooth improves and the alternative for transporting Bluetooth profile data is MAC PHY. Automatic configuration will be carried out by using Topology Management, and broadcast channelling, which will enable Bluetooth in other devises. The chain reaction is already in progress and as more components use Bluetooth technology, manufacturers of electronics will jump on the band wagon and become increasingly eager to make their products compatible. When you write or decide upon your headline-or it's opening equivalent-you have spent at least 80 cents out of your dollar. Stated differently, 80% of your outcome-four fifths of your result... all but 20% of the success of your selling effort is effected positively or negatively by how and what you convey in the beginning.

A change of headline messages can make a 20 times improvement in response or acceptance by your customer or prospect of your proposition. Every headline or opening statement should appeal to the prospect's or reader's or listener's self-interest. It would have to promise him or her a powerful, attractive appealing advantage. If possible, try to inject "news" value or "educational" value into the headline also.

The Important Role of Nutrients in Hydroponic Gardening

Hydroponics literally means the process of growing plants in water using no soil. The principle behind it is that different media bearing all the nutrients of natural soil will support the growth of plants. Therefore, it's these nutrients which are the most vital component in the hydroponics process. When growing plants in soil, the soil contains a whole lot of essential nutrients, which is the reason why fertilizers usually do not contain all the thirteen nutrients. But still, in the case of hydroponic plants, these fertilizers are not adequate and therefore fertilizer formulated specifically for hydropolic systems are the ones that you have to use.

The amounts and proportions of nutrients a plant needs varies. Your better hydroponic nutrients are packaged in solutions labeled as ‘grow’ or ‘bloom’, that way even a novice grower can find these solutions without too much of a problem. As the growing cycle of your plants evolves make sure the nutrients evolve along with it. The elements become depleted as the plant grows, so the solution needs to be changed. At certain times, important components can run out more quickly. In an ideal word, the solution should be changed every two weeks. Bear in mind that the proportion of the nutrient solution and the water stays consistent. If a loss of water occurs due to evaporation, the fertilizer levels will increase potentially causing serious damage to root systems.

The hydroponic nutrient solutions available are typically sold in a concentrated form. The grower must follow instructions and consider the plant's unique needs when he or she mixes it. For instance a weaker solution should be put for plants in poor growing conditions like overheated gardens, low lighting or just crowded plants. You are ripe for a stronger solution if your garden can handle high growth with enough carbon dioxide distribution and lighting. Natural sunlight or good grow lighting like LED grow lights are key. When using fertilizer on your plants you must increase the amount slowly over time so that you to keep the plant from burning up.

Even with a concentrate to water ratio range of 150-600 ppm, the level for many plants is 300-400 parts per million. Keep in mind that these must be mixed with water and not with another part of nutrient solution.

Right now, we know we need something more than just soil-based fertilizer, but what do we use?  The essential thing is to know which nutrient to look for. You have to first and foremost decide on the growing medium such as stone wool, coco etc. For instance, if coco is the medium you are using, go in for specific nutrients like canna coco nutrients. Super Veg A or Super Veg B would be ideal, and is a great formula for a vegitable in the crop stage.

The nutrient required will depend upon the medium that is to be used. Basically the organic or best hydroponic nutrients are made up of different combinations of nitrogen, potassium and phosphorus. Nitrogen is essential for leaf growth and development. Potassium will aid in the processing of cell production and phosphorus is the agent responsible for developing roots and flowering.

Learn the Tips for Making a good Weld with Stick Welding

You will find that you will need the skills of all types of positions including flat and horizontal and ventricle or overhead welding. All of these will take some time to learn and some will be more challenging than others.

Here are some tips to help you Stick Welding :

1. The right electrode for the job -- many people aren't sure of the size of the electrode they should use and this is important to know. The size of the electrode will depend on the situation you are welding within. In this situation you will be fighting against gravity if you are doing the weld vertically so you will want to use an electrode that is AWS classified as 7018 because they are low in their powder content.
2. A weld shelf makes a good guide -- if you are doing vertical or horizontal welding you will need something that the electrode can follow so you don't loose any of it to gravity. You can do this by creating a serious of little shelves so you can do a section at a time so that you can continue to work above a weld that you have already laid. This will create a situation where one puddle will freeze in time to hold the next weld.
3. Don't undercut if possible -- this can happen because you have to weave the electrode and sometimes your work may be gouged and not have enough fill metal. When this occurs, you will be working against gravity because it will work to pull your fill metal away from the space you are working. You can reduce your puddle size to help you have more control in this situation.
4.You will be doing yourself a favor if you stay away from odd sizes of metal and stick with the standard sizes of metal. These metals will be easier to find and you can weld them fester. Stick with the ones that are AISI-SAE 1015 to 1025 so that you can be sure that you have what you need.
5. Make sure you know your arc length -- a good rule of thumb is to use an arc length that is the same distance from the metal as your electrode's thickness. As an example, if you have an electrode that is ¼" thick, then have your arc ¼" thick. Also remember that as you use the electrode, you will have to move it closer to the metal.

Following tips such as these will really help your weld be more controlled and much more even.

Any discussion of spending holidays must take into account the distinction between week-end holidays and long-term holidays like the vacation.

Week-end holidays are meant for rest and recreation. They are devised as a break from five or six days of work. Since we are not machines, we cannot work continuously without such a break. Even machines cannot work continuously without intervals of stoppage during which they cool down and are oiled and supplied fuel or power. Similarly we too need intervals of rest and relaxation for our body and mind to enable us to be fresh and fit for the next week's work. On week-end days we can get up at ease, skip some daily routines, have a leisurely breakfast, have a game or two of our liking, enjoy an afternoon nap, chat with family members, visit friends and relatives, glance over our favourite magazine or story-book or watch TV or a movie. We may also complete the unfinished portion of homework or household work. At times we can enjoy small picnics in the company of family members, friends or classmates.

But a vacation is not the period to be wasted in idleness or gossiping. It is the time when we are free from routine work and can pursue some hobby or activity of our liking. We can go out on long-term tours, visit our relatives living in far-off places, play our favourite indoor and outdoor games, or take on activities like swimming, cycling, riding or gardening. When I Came To The Conclusion I No Longer Can Handle My Employment

I recently started asking myself a few questions when I found I no longer enjoyed my job. I thought to myself why would I bother doing something that I don't enjoy at my age? It's just not worth it to pursue a cearrer you don't enjoy, and I think I need a new path. That just leads to more questions like what job would I like.

My primary question to myself was why I even work at all. The picture I always have in my head when I'm slaving away is the thought of my kids gather happily around the {christmas wreath}. I know that's what keeps me going. The business world is not a gentle nice place, nor is it fun, and when I start to think of it as a means to a bi-weekly check then I come to the conclusion that it just isn’t worthwhile.

Next I thought about activities I enjoy. Running is fun. I don't think being a runner is exactly bread into me at 5 foot 7 inches. Starting at my age also doesn't seem like a great idea. Something else I like is helping with my daughters softball team. Maybe I could be a teacher. I actually probably would like that, but the idea of going back to school for two more years, at my age, just doesn't seem worth it.

No I guess when I really think about it I'm stuck in my job for a few more years. I'm close enough to retirement that I can taste it. My jobs not that bad anyway. It's working my way up the corporate ladder that bothers me. That's  it, I'll just stop playing! I'll just stop working so hard. Stop bringing work home with me, and stop checking my email before bed. My boss can't can me. My severance package alone would take me past my planned retirement.
Maybe this year I'll just slack off, hang a decorated christmas wreath with the kids, and make some real memories. Well there that alone gives me a year to look forward to. A merry Christmas, and a new years resolution to do less work. That's one I may actually keep.

Sure Glad I Switched.....from Mutual Funds to E-mini's!

Most of September, 2008 has been a …….well, I hate to use the word 'remarkable' in this circumstance…..but, what else would you call it. My heart really aches today for those folks who have their 'dreams' tied up in stocks and mutual funds. While the market has been causing them sleepless nights (and days), we e-mini traders have ……. well, it's a fact… been doing very well. In fact, some of the best trading days we've ever seen! A whole month's income in a day, several times.

But, recently, I've never felt such opposing feelings [at the same time] like I do now. I thought I would never see another day like July 24, 2002, a day the DOW rose 489 points. It was a banner day for me, even as a new neophyte e-mini trader.  September 2008 has been phenominal for traders, with several days surpassing that day in 2002. While I have almost been giddy several times (and still am), I'm also very concerned about our nation's economy.

Volatility and Volume are the two main market conditions e-mini traders pray for….and we're sure getting both! Even being very cautious and only trading with one 'contract', still what a train ride…. the market going down hill— over 777 DOW points, then back up 450 points, then back down again!  Volatility like we've never seen before! 

Those politicians in Washington are really caught behind the '8' ball, aren't they? I don't know whose more to blame for these conditions, the self-serving politicians or the greedy and corrupt mortgage industry and Wall Street officials. Let's hope we can sort them all out and punish them appropriately.

Back in early 2002 When I discovered the 'e-mini' and recognized the great advantages it offers over stocks, I immediately closed my mutual fund account and fired my stock broker.  Smartest thing I ever did. Today? Yeah, …I'm concerned about our overall economy, but I have faith in America and my fellow countrymen and, maybe even the politicians, if this is enough to wake them up!  In the meantime, I'll be so glad that I'm an e-mini trader...but, I'll be hoping the market comes back...for the benefit of my many friends who are still [only] in stocks.

Things will get better. And, those 'losses' my friends in stocks and mutual funds have suffered aren't real losses, until [one] SELLS.

Approximately 30% of all plastic products in the world are produced by an injection molding Prototyping process. Within this another 30% are produced using a custom injection molding Prototyping technology. There are basically six steps involved in the normal injection molding process. The first step is the clamping of the mould, the clamping unit makes for one of the three units of the molding machine. The other two being the injection unit and the mold, once the clamping unit holds on to the mold, the molten plastic is injected into the mold by the injection unit. The plastic is fed in the form of tiny pellets onto a hopper. What happens next is that these are put into a sylinder and in this cylinder is where they are heated until they melt and can be injected into the mold. The steps that follow are referred to as dwelling phase. Prototyping basically involves making sure all the cavities in the mold are fully filled. With the clamping still intact, the mold is then allowed to cool. Finally the mold is opened and the component is ejected out. The biggest advantage of plastic injection molding is the cost factor of the produced parts, especially when you need large number of parts.  The disadvantage is the cost of manufacturing the molds; a simple injection mold can cost you $3000 while the bigger complex ones can run into several hundreds of thousands.

Rapid Prototyping: This process bacially automates certain types of manufacturing using a technology called solid freeform fabrication. They are used in a wide range of applications, everything from medical to fine art. Rapid Prototyping machine works by taking virtual models from software and then converting it into extremely thin, horizontal cross-sections and then goes onto create each of the cross-section in physical space in a cyclic manner until the model is completed. Rapid Prototyping is a WYSIWYG process in which the virtual model bears identical resemblance to the finished physical model. Additional fabrications allows the machine to lay down layers of sheet, liquid or powder material and build up a series of cross-sections These layers are finally automatically fused together to render the final product. The main advantage of rapid prototyping is the ability to create any shape no matter how complex the geometry is. The commonly used data interface between the machine and the software is the STL format. It works by approximating the geometry of a part using triangular facets, smaller the facets higher will be the surface quality. The word “rapid” is used relative top conventional methods which take days to construct a model depending upon its complexity.  Rapid prototyping can create the model within a few hours, though it is highly dependent of the type of machines and the size of the model. There have been several new technologies available for rapid prototyping including Fused Deposition Modeling, Selective laser sintering, 3D printing, and Electron Beam Melting.

Microsoft have recently announced an important warning about using their default browser, Internet Explorer.
